The trusted way to tackle tricky terrain
Reliable on every surface and proven for safety, all Hydralada models are stability tested and designed to drive at full elevation on unprepared terrain on slopes up to 20 degrees.
-
Foot control hands-free operation
The ability to drive the machine at full height, hands-free is just one of the features that make a Hydralada machine so efficient. The operator can easily work on the move, at height – significantly increasing productivity.

Easy to transport
Hydralada elevating work platforms are relatively lightweight and compact making them easy to transport from farm to farm – either towed behind a vehicle on their wheels or simply loaded onto a trailer or low bed truck.
Intuitive controls
Hands-free for technical work
With Hydralada lifting platforms it’s all about the fancy footwork. Housed within the floor of the platform, a centre pedal operates the lift and the two outside pedals operate the respective drive wheels. It’s a quick and easy drive system that leaves the technicians hands free to service the pivot irrigator.
Rigid Chassis
Designed to thrive in the agricultural environment
With more than 45 years of manufacturing experience, you could say we know the land like the back of our hand. Proven for safety and renowned for reliability, our heavy-duty construction and rigid chassis design mean Hydralada machines will operate in harsh environments year-round.
Powerful Engine
High-performance from a twin-cylinder petrol engine
Let’s hear it for a smooth operator. The Hydralada’s high torque 19hp Twin Cylinder Kohler Engine is driven at relatively low RPM, ensuring a quiet, fume-free working environment in the avocado orchard.
Popular lifting platform options
Two Person Work Platform
Perfect if you need a hand
This is the ideal option for jobs where two people are required on the platform. Tiller Lever Hand Control is fitted with this option, and the foot-activated deadman switch meets all industry standards.
Tandem 4WD
Increased traction and stability
Mud, sand and grass can throw extreme challenges at the operator. Hydralada’s Tandem 4WD makes working in all conditions a breeze – even driving through shallow drains.
Free Wheeling Hubs
Tow wherever you go
Thanks to the quick-release wheel hubs fitted to the wheels, the Hydralada drive is easily disengaged and the machine towed from one farm to another behind your ute.
Platform Tool Box
Carry tools safely
Hydralada’s front and rear-mounted heavy-duty toolboxes are easily fitted to the platform. Effortlessly carry all the tools necessary for your job, keeping them close to hand – maximising efficiency and safety.
Hand Operated Controls
Maximum floor space
Where operators need to maximise their working space, hand controls are the preferred option. A firm standing area on the floor makes for an efficient and stable platform at all times.
Twin Castor
More wheels on the ground
This option offers more stability than the standard single castor rear wheel. The Twin Castor option is often included with the Tandem Four Wheel Drive making for a truly versatile machine when operating on sloping property.
Hand Deadman Control
Operational safety is paramount
Machine drive controls are not operational until this hand control is activated. It is a requirement for elevating work platforms used in the industrial and construction industry.
Flashing Beacon
Vehicle Warning Light
An orange beacon mounted on the rear of the machine which shines when the machine is operational. Ideal when the machine is operating in public spaces such as street tree pruning.
Powerful Engine
High-performance compact diesel engine
Kubota Diesel Model D722 is a vertical, water-cooled, 3 Cylinder, 4 Cycle IDI diesel engine with high torque capacity of 16.4 hp at 3600 RPM. Don’t mistake its compact size, this is one of the most hardworking, efficient running diesel engines on the market. The Kubota Z482 Model is a 2 cylinder option, 10.90 HP version also available.
